Colorful Fastener

I went looking to buy some new things for the next series that we are working on.

I found these colorful fasteners hanging at a store. It reminded me of Japanese Noren, which is a traditional fabric divider that is hung between rooms, on walls, or in windows.

Organic Cotton

We are working on the next Lilipiache Spring/Summer 2012 collection now.

As a new concept, we'll use organic cotton for our new lingerie. Organic cotton is grown without any agricultural chemicals. In the process of growing the plants, normally, a lot of chemicals are used that pollute the air and water. Besides being good for the earth, using organic products is good for your skin. In the future we will try to think of more ideas to help the earth and we hope many more people follow our ideas.

Charity For Japan

We participated in a charity for the devastating earthquake that recently happened in Japan.

It was a charity exhibition held at the OUCHI GALLERY in Brooklyn.

Artists donated their works and all proceeds raised were donated to the Japanese Red Cross Society.

We donated the lingerie in the above picture.

One artists was handing out a piece of paper that looked like the Japanese flag but had a red heart instead of the iconic red circle.

Everyone's support for Japan was really moving.

OUCHI GALLERY will also hold the event again on March 26th.

I saw this picture on the Internet. I am not sure its real name but it is sometimes referred to as Queen Anne's Lace. I think nature is beautiful. We always use lace in our lingerie. I want to make beautiful lingerie like this flower.

Creative Knitting

I found this cute picture. It is from Erika Knight’s Simple Knits with a Twist: Unique Project for Creative Knitters. I want to try and make something like this. I really enjoy knitting. This chair looks so warm. Next winter I'm going to make lingerie with some warm fabric. Stay tuned!
